What we did

Interior Design

More than an office, we set out to create a cultural home for Kudos. With a production company so rich in visual stimuli, we used those assets to build their world: props, photography and objet d’art from hero productions brought to life in a warm and industrial backdrop, a home from home for staff and clients.

Shed worked with Kudos, a British film and TV company to refurbish their Clerkenwell offices. Set around the corner from Exmouth Market, the former Victorian warehouse acts as a hub for some of the leading productions on British television. The brief was clear, to create a home from home for Kudos.

A key objective was to create a naturally light and open communal workspace whilst enabling the writers to escape to a place of solace when needed. The approach was deliberately anti-corporate, favouring a worn and rich palette, plush seating and eclectic rugs.

A layered, inviting and comfortable space that feels unique and ownable to Kudos. The balance of function and form, comfort and utility has enabled an office culture to flourish, hitting all the right notes of work and play.
