On top of the dramatic Uluwatu Cliffs sits our most stunning project location. Boasting some of the world’s best surf and killer views to match, sunsets and breakers roll in from the Western horizon. The stage to create one of the best member’s clubs in the world.

Convert a disused and derelict recording studio into a world class beach resort. An all encompassing brief from architecture, pool and landscaping, to the club’s suite of hospitality and boutique villa offers.

We knew it was about getting the right recipe to stand out in the Balinese resort scene. Creating rich and varied layers within a single destination. Part beach: Laid-back vibes with a distinct nod to Uluwatu’s rich surf heritage. Part natural: Celebrating Bali’s world-famous natural materials, foliage and craftsmanship. Part jet set: All the panache of an international member’s club.

The result was an attitude both boutique and punchy, inspired by a new generation of one-off venues that dance to the beat of their own drum. Described by Tatler Magazine as one of the best private clubs in the world, Ulu has quickly become a firm favourite on the international club circuit.
